Calm before the Ulthoon

I think it was inevitable that I’d miss a post, especially when I was on full house-bum mode for most of yesterday, making the most as it were of the single weekend allotted to me. Frankly, I don’t really mind, as I’m going to really need the rest, as it’s the proverbial calm before the academic storm I’m going to have to face this week. It’s bad enough that we have the comprehensive exam scheduled for Dr. Baytan’s class, but I ALSO need to read up then write a paper for my report for the very same class, PLUS submit the hard copy of my supposed contribution to my previous report, and start on the 7+ page memoir I have to submit for Dr. Cruz’s class. It was bad enough, that I had to extend my leaves reserved for this week, throwing in Wednesday and Thursday as well as my previously-reserved Friday, just to be able to cope with it all. Yeesh, talk about pressure.
