I didn’t realize just how dire my personal finances were until I went out this afternoon to pay for our monthly electrical bill. Per agreement between us we nominally shouldered half of the bill, but when I went out to the nearby ATM to withdraw money, it was revealed to me that I literally didn’t have enough savings left to even do that. Normally I’d wait for until payday to make up for it, but the problem is the due date for the electric bill comes before payday. So, to say I’m in a bit of a pickle is understating things.
Normally tatay’s the one to fall back on in situations like this… Unfortunately, as I mentioned before, he’s in the provinces right now overseeing the small bit of land we own there (as well as networking with my mom’s relatives for possible business ventures). He should be arriving tomorrow, which means he can still step in to help with the payment on Monday, but it helps to worry about all the eventualities…
Oh who am I kidding? I’ m so screwed. Ah, if only it was possible to get pay advances in the BPO industry, like in all other businesses! Frighteningly, I need bailing out as bad as Tsubomi and Erica in the second Pretty Cure All-Stars Deluxe movie!
