All I have to say tonight is… I’m stuffed. Let your imaginations run wild on what that means.
Actually, it really means that, after my usual afternoon jog (I wasn’t making any headway on my project proper), I stuffed myself full of food soon afterward. To be precise, a platter of mixed vegetables, rice, beef, fried egg, and kimchi from that Korean restaurant in SM Makati’s food court (yes, the name of the dish and the restaurant escape me at the moment), and a slice of cake once I got home. It’s verging on rebound, but I think it’s fair since I missed out on lunch earlier today. As long as I watch my intake tomorrow (and somehow don’t suffer indigestion for the next couple of days), I should be fine.
Since I was at Makati, I dropped by Mercury Drug to have my weight measured. What I found was an improvement, but even so I’m still five pounds away from my target, and still ten kilos overweight for my height. Once I get to my target, then the real problems begin, as losing the last five pounds to my ideal weight will be tough. The last time I was able to do it, I was forced to eat a single big meal during the day (breakfast), then fill out the remainder with… bananas (a single banana at lunch and dinner).
Yea, really not looking forward to doing that again. While I didn’t lack for energy, it made me crave for all sorts of stuff (really, one can only take so many bananas for a month) as a result.
Ah, the sacrifices one has to make for one’s health. Again.
