Things have settled down a bit here at home. With my final project submitted and sister’s wedding finished, it’s back to our usual routine, in some ways. For example I went to work as usual, and passed most of today’s shift trying to stave off dozing off at my seat (ironically, I actually slept normally the night before). After that it was a short break, before I was off to the gym again for the first time in more than a week (I had to miss out due to the rush in finishing the screenplay rewrite), and boy did it feel good.
That said, I did feel more tired than usual, but I figure it’s due the one-week gap combined with how dreadfully hot it was this afternoon. I figure that’s going to be the case for most of the summer though, so I guess all I can do is drink water more than usual to keep hydrated.
As expected my sister came home this afternoon, looking no worse for wear. Apparently (I was asleep at the time) she spent most of the time since she came home to go through all the pictures her relatives (me included) and friends had posted on her wedding, on Facebook and other online storage media. That’s a lot of pictures to sift through, for sure, but I suppose it’s just something she has to do, given it was her special day yesterday.
Ah, there’s only one last thing I need to do for things to really settle back into “routine” — The Puella Stampede. Oh yes. That project has been stalled for way too long for my taste.
