So Much Closer, I Can Feel It

June 6, 2012

It’s the end of the workweek tomorrow, meaning I’m this much close to having money again in the bank.  I’m expecting some deductions — I did go absent for a day for enrollment, and I was an hour late the other day — but not enough to make me wring my hands and wish ill to the people at accounting.  At least, I hope it won’t be that big.

That said, I’ll be happy to be able put something into my poor bank account again. It’s never a good thing to leave it virtually empty, as one never knows when an emergency pops up, after all.  I’ll have to minimize expenditures again, but it’s not like I need to buy anything right now.  Well, there are the books that I might need to read for the comprehensive exam…

Today’s workshift was more of the same.  Not really that hectic in the morning, but there was yet another god-awful spike in the queue after noon.  This time around, there were two of us taking in calls, but again it didn’t seem like the calls stopped. Which is why I honestly breathed a sigh of relief when they did.

Managed to finally go to the gym this afternoon, and not a single cramp got to me during the whole session.  I did feel more lethargic than usual, but I guess that’s happens when I sleep way past midnight for three days straight.

And that’s pretty much it for my day.  Really mundane stuff, for sure.
