Throat-Sore And Can’t Do Anything About It

June 11, 2012

Honestly, this was not how I imagined the start of the week would go.  It was frantic to say the least, as again, for some strange reason, we were getting a ton of calls on a Monday (meaning it’s a Sunday in the US).  The queue was literally backed up for several hours, at least from the merchant side of things.  So it didn’t really help that, once again, by the time it hit ten in the morning, there were just two of us taking in calls.  Ugh.

Another thing that bothers me is how, all of a sudden, my shift apparently had an hour added to it — the online scheduler now shows that my work time is from seven to two now, instead of eight to two.  What the heck?  And there isn’t even an email saying about this or anything (and I checked).  Stupid stupid…  I bet this is about the shift bid again, and I expect that no one sent the memo that I only work six hours, and part-time at that.

This pretty much means that all that I’m going to have to wake up even earlier to compensate (which is never nice)…  The situation is all sorts of screwed up.  It’s no wonder that, by the time I got home, I said to myself, “Ah, screw today”, and went to sleep.  That meant no gym again, but hey, I did dumbbell exercises again once I woke, but it’s still not enough to compensate.

Yeah, it’s a really crappy way to start of my week.
