It’s raining right now, and I’m at a loss at what to right for tonight’s entry. As many weekends before this one, there just wasn’t anything noteworthy to talk about today. Really.
Wait, I got something. I didn’t have any money aside from the hundred pesos I withdrew yesterday when I got off the MRT station, which meant that I didn’t have any spare change to pay for a jeep ride to the office. Given it was a Sunday, it would be doubly awkward to just hand over a hundred-peso bill, and expect the poor driver to give me the change I need (remember, a Sunday means that there are few people taking rides). So I took a brief detour to the closest Jollibee, bout a breakfast meal (longanisa and egg for the curious), and used the twelve pesos left over to pay for the rest of the commute to the office building.
That meant though that I was out of money by the time my first break rolled in. So when it started, I hurried down to the ATMs closest to our office to make a withdrawal… Only to find that all of them either were being serviced, or couldn’t give out cash. Ugh. I had to make do with some of the granola bars I had pocketed when I left the house, and try to withdraw some money at some of the further ATMs when my lunch started.
Let me tell you, it was a long walk before I was able to get the money I needed. Mph.
Anyway, it’s been raining since I got home, and it’s been doing so intermittently for much of the afternoon. Oh well, at least I can enjoy the rain, as it means that I’ll have a cool night to fall asleep to.
