Tuesday shift, and as usual it was an exhausting day at work. Suffice to say that from the time I logged in up to at least ten o’clock or so, I was neck-deep in answering CS calls… Yeah, I wasn’t happy, to say the least. And to cap off a potentially crappy shift, my new supervisor took me aside to give me some “coaching”.
Suffice to say I didn’t give him any BS, and laid my thoughts on much of the things I think the company is doing wrong with the morning shift. Not that it mattered, as the supervisor was obviously toeing the company line. And what more, there was the “disciplinary report” I had to sign (because of my breaking protocol the week or so before), which meant that I was going to be put “under review” by HR. Wonderful.
By the time I got out of work, I didn’t care anymore. I wanted to go home, I wanted to go to bed, and forget for a while that this day didn’t happen…
Yeah, I’ll just go do that again.
