What can I say? It was pretty much the usual work day, except for the fact that, prior to ten in the morning I was answering less calls than I usually did. For some reason, I had a lower queue priority than the people in the stations beside me, which meant that while the calls seemed to be coming in very quickly for them, I only received calls after a noticeable amount of time. And even then, there was a large gap between one call and the next.
Obviously I didn’t complain about the situation, and while things returned to more or less normal after ten (since many of my co-workers logged off by then), there were still instances where minutes went by before a call came in. I think I even nodded off at one point, and only woke up because of a particularly loud snore I made.
Since I was neither frustrated nor exhausted when I got home, I was able to drop by the gym this afternoon. As I promised myself the other day, I tried on one of the new pairs of running shoes that came with nanay’s latest package, and so far I liked the experience. It made running full-sprint on the treadmill much more tolerable, for sure.
And that’s pretty much it about my day. Much more colorful than yesterday, for sure.
