Thankfully nothing really exciting happened to day, which is how I’d rather spend my Tuesday, instead of being stressed-out of my mind due to the the usual high call volume for the nominal start of the week. Given the full complement of teams handling the CS queue (let’s see how long that lasts shall we?), I was left once more on just merchant and application duty. The odd spikes on the application side aside, everything went relatively leisurely, and by the time it was around noon the queue had pretty much died off. Well, not as much as I’d have liked, but the gaps between calls were large enough that, had I been more comfortable (and not as engrossed in reading the latest To The Stars chapter) I could have dozed off.
Didn’t go to gym this afternoon, despite the fact that there wasn’t a raincloud in the sky. Just felt really sleepy, but that’s no surprise as I slept relatively late again last night (too much messing around with Skyrim’s Creation Kit again). So I just went for the nap. Served me rather well, I think.
Here’s to hoping that tomorrow’s shift will give me more of the same.
Oh, and before I forget. Yes, it was payday today, and the money went straight to my poor savings account as planned. Still waiting on some bills to arrive, but it should be enough to tide me over comfortably until the next payday comes.
