I’m a little surprised how I was able to get through the day. I turned in very late (or early, depending on how you look at it) in the morning, after which I woke up barely two hours later to go to work. And not once during the shift did I feel sleepy or drowsy, though I think it owes more to the fact that my workday was relatively hectic for a Wednesday. I think the fact that we were missing two people today contributed, which meant that while we were receiving likely the same volume of calls from the day before, the fact that there were fewer people to answer said calls meant that the queue got backed up at times. Ugh.
I didn’t take a nap once I got back either, oh no. After a bit of browsing, it was off to the gym as per practice for an hour. It was only after I got back that I was starting to feel sleepy… which is why I’m not going to fight the urge, and instead give in to it and go to bed early.
My only hope right now is that things wouldn’t be as bad at work tomorrow.
