Clumsy Transitioning

August 12, 2012

Another Sunday, another day at work.  Not really much to say about today’s weather either, except for the fact that it started out sunny, turned rainy all of a sudden sometime mid-day, before returning to having nary a cloud in the sky.  It wasn’t hot for some reason though, which made it okay to just walk from the office to the MRT station.

Speaking of the rain, for a while there it looked like the beach outing of the CS part of the team would get cancelled because of it.  That would have been too bad, especially since some of the girls dolled themselves out and everything (which really made me wonder, since they’re going to a beach, and not a party… or are they?).  Thankfully for them, the squall blew itself out soon enough, and I suppose they were able to go on their way.

Didn’t really do much when I finally got home, but divided my time among my usual hobbies (though even then what I could do was limited, as my father was lying down on my bed reading for a good part of the afternoon).

Oh, today’s dinner was nice.  Pork steak, with a special marinade and sauce prepared by my sister’s husband.  It was enough for me to close my eyes to my weight-watching, at least for today.

Anyway, Monday again tomorrow.  Hopefully it’s going to be one of those slow Mondays at work, instead of the “Argh argh argh make it stop!” types of Mondays.
