Saturday Of Noodles

Black Saturday, as it were, passed without much fuss.  It could have been any other weekend for me, except for the fact that this time around, my sister and her husband finally decided to use the Taiwan noodles that my mother sent a while back for lunch.  What we ended up with was what I could only describe as “mega pancit canton”, where a massive amount of chopped vegetables mixed in with fried chicken liver and fish balls in dark sauce became the mix for the noodles.

Needless to say, we were stuffed, and there was so much of it that it ended up as dinner.

It’s back to normal tomorrow, as far as work is concerned, and hopefully that means the MRT is open to take passengers again.
