It was Thanksgiving Day in Canada yesterday, and while that didn’t stop the calls, it did make it so that we experienced avail times until pretty much the end of the shift. Heck, it’s the first time I’d ever seen our service level remain at green status, as on a normal day it would start dipping into red by around nine in the morning onward, as that’s the point where the queue starts to build up.
So yeah, it was a welcome surprise at the office for a change. We were able to relax, and even joke around until it was time to go home. That doesn’t happen a whole lot.
